Welke soorten bleekwater zijn er?
Bleek noemt men in de volksmond ook wel chloor. Bleek is vloeibaar en doorgaans verpakt in een (spuit)fles. Bleek is te koop in verschillende samenstellingen. Zo bestaat er dikke bleek, dikbleek, wc-reiniger met (dikke) bleek, bleekspray en (wc-gel met) javel.
Wat is het verschil tussen chloor en javel?
Chloor is gasvormig en daar valt nou eenmaal lastig mee schoon te maken. Bleekwater wordt gemaakt door chloorgas door water te leiden, waar natriumhydroxide in is opgelost. Bleek is dus een verdunde oplossing met het meest actieve ingrediënt: natriumhypochloriet (wat ook weer invloeden heeft vanuit de zoutindustrie).
