Mens erger je niet! is een bordspel voor twee tot zes spelers. De oorsprong van het spel ligt in India. Een vereenvoudigde versie van het traditionele Indiase spel Pachisi werd in 1896 onder de naam Ludo in Groot-Brittannië uitgebracht. Mens erger je niet!
Hoe werkt Ludo?
Ludo wordt gespeeld op een speciaal bord met een circuit van velden, 4 startblokken (de vierkanten in de hoeken) en 4 eindvelden (gemarkeerd I – IV). Het doel van het spel is om de eigen pionnen alle na een complete ronde over het circuit thuis te spelen op de vier eindvelden.

Mens-erger-je-niet is een bordspel afkomstig uit India. Het is de bedoeling dat de speler met alle vier de pionnen rondom het speelbord gaan en uiteindelijk in vier vakjes te plaatsen. Waar komt de naam Keezen vandaan?
Oorsprong. Keezen is, net als mens-erger-je-niet afgeleid van het Indiase bordspel Pachisi, maar wordt met speelkaarten in plaats van een dobbelsteen gespeeld. Keezen komt wereldwijd voor, er zijn Canadese, Amerikaanse en Duitse varianten bekend. In Duitsland heet het spel Dog.
