Wat betekent staking crypto?
In begrijpelijke taal: Crypto Staking is het proces van het vastzetten (staken) van cryptocurrency bij een exchange om vervolgens een bepaald rente percentage over je cryptomunten te ontvangen.
Wat is Staking opbrengst?
Bij het staken van crypto koop je een bepaalde hoeveelheid van een coin of token die je vervolgens vasthoudt (staakt). Als beloning voor het vasthouden, ontvang je rente op je coins. De rente verschilt per coin, maar wordt meestal in de vorm van crypto uitgekeerd.
Kan je Bitcoin staken?
Bitcoin maakt namelijk gebruik van het Proof of Work consensus algoritme. Je kunt Bitcoin echter toch staken. Dit komt omdat je via Bitvavo ook off-chain kunt staken. Technisch gezien werkt dit net iets anders, maar in de basis is het hetzelfde: je ontvangt een beloning in ruil voor het vasthouden van je munten.
Wat is Apy crypto?
Bij crypto is het gebruikelijk om de rente uit te drukken in ‘APY’ (Engels: annual percentage yield). Bij WISE wordt de rente niet uitgekeerd in EUR, USD of ETH, maar in (extra) WISE tokens.
