3D Secure is een gratis dienst van Visa en Mastercard waarmee gebruikers veilig online aankopen kunnen doen met behulp van een bankpas of creditcard. De service is alleen beschikbaar op websites van 3D Secure-verkopers en is ook bekend onder de naam Verified by Visa (VBV) of Mastercard SecureCode (MSC).
