What is the PSO2 Tweaker and how does it work?
The PSO2 Tweaker is a replacement for the normal PSO2 launcher, used to update, patch, and launch the Japanese version of the game. The Tweaker adds several options to the game, such as the option to automatically download and install the English patch and any updates to it, configure your game settings, update your game quickly, and much more!
Can you trade PSO2 items in New Genesis?
PSO2 New Genesis officially starts today! NGS-related items will be included in future Ship Transfers. There will now be items labelled with PSO2 or NGS labels. You will only be able to Trade that item in it’s respective game.
How do I install the Japanese version of PSO2?
Try setting your locale to japanese and then install the original jp version. after the western launch, i played the western version till the ep4 update, then switched to jp and can honestly tell you that the jp install has a lot less gameguard issues than the western version has. Look up pso2 tweaker and follow the instructions for installation.
What is pso2proxy and how does it work?
Cyberkitsune’s PSO2Proxy is a proxy service that allows players to connect to the game servers if they are unable to due to their ISP; it is typically the fastest and easiest way to connect since you just input the Proxy’s address into the Tweaker.
How do I play the game as is in PSO2?

Is the PSO2 JP launcher better than Tweaker patching?
IMO, Tweaker patching PSO2 was much faster than the PSO2 JP Launcher. Note that I haven’t touched the JP launcher in at least 2 years. It has nifty little features tacked on over the years to help accommodate people to make their gaming experience with PSO2 more enjoyable.
Can I play PSO2 in the Netherlands?
You cannot use this version if you live in the Netherlands Antilles, Belgium, Netherlands, China, Japan, or Republic of Korea. You can install PSO2 through the Microsoft Store by clicking here. This guide will not cover installing the game via this method.
