What is a warforged in 5e?
The d&d 5e Warforged were created ages ago. They were created as a tool of war. Originally golems with the power to find out and adapt on the battlefield, they shortly became aware. And, with awareness came a soul, and with a soul, the will to measure and to not die during a pointless conflict.
Where can I find warforged in D&D?

How do warforged 5e soldiers sleep?
Warforged soldiers are living humanoids and there completely immune to diseases. Breathing, eating, drinking is not necessary but if they wish they can in just food or they can drink. Warforged 5E soldiers do not sleep instead they will be in the resting position and will remain in the semi-conscious state for about 4 hours per day.
How did the warforged come about?
As they talk about in the video, the Warforged were designed by House Cannith to fight in the Last War. The first of them were little more than mindless automata, but as the war progressed and House Cannith’s arcanists, artificers, and engineers devoted their time and energy to improving them, they became able to forge truly living machines.
Do warforged have free will?
In the original Eberron setting, Warforged are war machines created by one of the ancient houses of the continent during the Last War. However, Warforged are created to have free will and sentience, eventually gaining the equivalent of “human rights” in the Eberron setting.
What are warforged immune to?
The other standard stuff is all there. Warforged are Immune to Sleep and do not suffer Exhaustion owing to lack of rest (but that’s it, so Frenzied Berserkers beware). You don’t eat, drink, or breathe, and are immune to disease and resistant to poison.
