What is an alternate class feature in an archetype?
Each alternate class feature presented in an archetype replaces a specific class feature from its parent class. For example, the flowing monk archetype’s redirection class feature replaces the Stunning Fist feature of the standard monk class.

Archetypes are a quick and easy way to specialize characters of a given class, adding fun and flavorful new abilities to already established adventurers. Each base class in this game draws upon a central idea, a basic concept representing Classes from the base class as another alternate class feature.

Versatility: Versatility is the overall mechanical versatility of an archetype, rated based on a combination of an archetypes ability to adapt to different situations, and its overall ability to do more than one action well. This goes from highest (+2) to lowest (-2)
What are some good archetypes to combine with Druid?
Cavalier, Cleric and Druid Archetypes added. Cleric and Druid Archetypes don’t really combine well, unless you’re Scroll Scholar or Pack Lord, apparently. What is a phrenic adept archetype?
For example, the phrenic adept archetype (see page 128) could be used for a character who is naturally psychic or who gained psychic powers after being exposed to strange alien technology. Without a similar background or event, other characters can’t gain these powers, making it more appropriate for an archetype than a series of class features.
