The big pitch for Diablo 4 is straightforward: It’s a return to the darker days of early Diablo, full of blood and grunge and good old-fashioned demon worship. It’s going to have a shared open world, which means it’s online-only, though that doesn’t mean you’ll constantly be in the company of other players.
