Is hardstyle muziek?
Hardstyle is een elektronisch muziekgenre dat overeenkomsten vertoont met hardcore en hardtrance. Het gemiddelde tempo ligt rond de 150 bpm. De spreiding in het aantal beats per minuut van hardstyleplaten is door de jaren toegenomen. Hardstyle wordt in het Verenigd Koninkrijk vaak gecombineerd met hardhouse.
Wat is raw hardstyle?
Raw hardstyle voedt zich met duistere sounds, agressieve teksten, rauwe kicks en oorverdovende screeches in plaats van vrolijke melodieën. Veel fans beschouwen deze stroming als ‘echte hardstyle’.
Wat is harder hardcore of hardstyle?
Het verschil zit ‘m met name in het aantal beats per minuut (bpm). Hardstyle is in principe gewoon hardcore op techno tempo. Hardcore heeft doorgaans een bpm van 160-180 (daarboven zit je al in de regionen van darkcore, terror, speedcore of zelfs extratone); techno zit tussen de 120 en 150 bpm.

Since then, countless other songs have been recreated and uploaded to YouTube.
