Ambidextrie (van het Latijn ambo “beide” en dexter “rechts”) of tweehandigheid is het fenomeen dat iemand zowel links- als rechtshandig is. De meeste mensen zijn in meer of mindere mate rechts- of linkshandig, en ambidextrie komt dan ook niet vaak voor. Circa 1 procent van de mensen is van nature ambidexter.
