What kind of Pokemon is Empoleon?
Introduced in Generation IV . Empoleon appears to be a stout, navy blue penguin-like Pokémon with orange webbed feet like ducks have. It also appears to have metal flippers with blue metal bordering it and three orange small claws underneath its flippers.
What type is Empoleon weak to?
Empoleon, being a Steel-type as well as Water-type, is one of the Water-type Pokémon that aren’t weak to Grass -type attacks. It is the only fully evolved starter Pokémon in the Sinnoh region not to have any Starter type weaknesses.

Although Empoleon is a Water/Steel-type Pokémon, it can learn a variety of Water, Ice, Steel and Flying-Type attacks. It can also learn many moves involving claws, such as Metal Claw and Shadow Claw.

Its unique typing provides it with key resistances such as Dragon and Water, which makes Empoleon the only Pokemon in the metagame that resists both of Kingdra ’s STAB moves in addition to Choice Specs Latias ’s Draco Meteor + Surf combination.
What does Empoleon’s beak look like?
It has a wide, yellow beak that extends upward into three pointed horns that form a trident-shaped crest bracketing blue eyes. Large horns are a symbol of leadership and strength for Empoleon. There is a blue marking resembling a crown over its eyes and a white, lacy marking running down its chest.
Is Empoleon in Pokken Tournament?
Empoleon is a playable character in the arcade and Nintendo Switch versions of Pokkén Tournament. This Pokémon was unavailable prior to Generation IV. The three horns that extend from its beak attest to its power. The leader has the biggest horns. It swims as fast as a jet boat.
