Dungeon Defenders 2 Features Cross Platform, Free to Play, and New MOBA Mode. Our current focus is to release Dungeon Defenders II on platforms that allow consistent updates and cross-platform play.
Will Dungeon Defenders: Awakened be cross platform?
We don’t have plans for cross-play between the PS4, Xbox One and Steam versions at this time. Cross-play is still not in our plans. Right now our studio is focused on our newest game, Dungeon Defenders: Awakened.

Dungeon Defenders is a mix of tower defense, role-playing, and action-adventure where one to four (sometimes up to six) players work together to protect one or more Eternia Crystals from being destroyed by waves of enemies which include goblins, orcs, kobolds, ogres and other creatures.

Can Dungeon Defenders play on PlayStation 4?
Dungeon Defenders: Awakened, an action-RPG steeped in tower defense mechanics, remains on track for a 2020 release. Developer Chromatic Games plans to launch the Nintendo Switch version in Q3 2020. Meanwhile, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions are set to arrive in the final quarter of this year.
Does Dungeon Defenders have cross-platform play?
You also gain loot by playing the competitive mode. At the end of each match you’ll be rewarded items, and while you can carry over the cosmetics of any item you find between the co-op and competitive modes, there stats will differ. The original Dungeon Defenders was supposed to have cross-platform play, but it eventually fell through.
