Can you go to Mt silver in fire red?
Mt. Silver can be reached from Kanto via Route 28 after receiving the sixteen Gym Badges of both Johto and Kanto. At the very summit of Mt….Mt. Silver.

Why is red not on Mt silver?
Mt. Silver was just a gatekeeping tool, in order to make sure players couldn’t challenge Red early. Sealing off Mt. Silver meant that the player had a reason to complete the Kanto region again, as they needed sixteen Gym Badges to enter it.
Where is Red mt silver?
Silver is a mountain in the northeast region of Johto. It is the place of the Pokémon Preservation Center (which is not in the game). At its peak, the player challenges Red, who has a Pikachu, Charizard, Blastoise, Venusaur, Snorlax, and Espeon (or Lapras in HeartGold/SoulSilver).
