As of July 6, the PSP digital store is officially closed. You can no longer purchase digital PSP games through the said channel. However, a loophole has been discovered for you to still get new titles for the portable console. The company decided to invest its focus and resources in newer gaming consoles, like the PS5.

If you want to play PSP games on your big screen TV, you need to connect your console to the television set via an AV cable. Connect the AV cable to the video out port on the bottom of your PSP. It’s the only port that end of the cable fits in. Connect the other end of the AV cable to the appropriate ports on your TV.

Will there be a PSP 5?
Sony has the hardware and software to build a PSP 5G, and with it wiping its slate clean of legacy systems, it can now unify its next-gen offering under one store and Netflix-for-games streaming service. And, crucially, all gaming systems would make use of the same core platform and store.
How much is PSP 5G?
It would be more appropriate to launch the PSP 5G at a price of $299, or even $349, especially if Sony launches it in 2022 or 2023. Where Sony can recoup some of its manufacturing costs is to make the PSP 5G a digital only device.
