Gameplay. The Isle Icon The Isle is a dinosaur survival game, where you can choose between playing as a Herbivore or a Carnivore on a massive remote island. It is mainly multiplayer. In Survival Mode, you will spawn as a juvenile dinosaur of your choice from the Dinosaurs that are available.

Humans in the Isle are categorized into two groups, Modern humans (Mercenaries) and the Primitives (Tribals). Both groups will behave differently to each other and will react to dinosaurs differently as well. Human structures can also be found and explored on the Legacy Maps of Isle V3 and Thenyaw Island.
Is the Isle Evrima a separate game?
Evrima is a beta update. All of The Isle is beta, but Evrima will not start downloading on its own. Players will need to initiate the update on their own. Right click The Isle in your games.

-Press the Add to Group button on the player list to send a invite to a group. -Herbivores can group with any other herbivore. -Carnivores can only group with the same species. -Groups are leaderless atm, anyone who is invited to a group can invite someone else to the group they are in.

Does the isle have AI dinosaurs?
AI or Artificial Intelligence is a feature in The Isle which will enable the capability of a computer having the imitation of an actual dinosaur behavior which will make future hunting and Survival Mode harder or easier for players. All AI are only playable in Sandbox mode at the moment.
