Hoe kom je aan lactose-intolerantie?
Als er geen of niet voldoende lactase wordt aangemaakt, kan lactose in onze voeding niet goed verteerd worden. Lactose komt dan onverteerd in de dikke darm terecht. De bacteriën in de dikke darm, de darmflora, gaan lactose ‘vergisten’. Hierdoor kunnen klachten ontstaan.
