Hoeveel HZ hebben we in Nederland?
Wisselspanning komt thuis uit het stopcontact en op deze spanning werken de meeste elektrische apparaten die wij kennen. In Europa is dit 230 V/50 Hz, in Amerika 120 V of 240 V/60 Hz.
Wat is Hz bij stroom?
De eenheid hertz geeft het aantal trillingen per seconde aan. Zo heeft de elektriciteit in huis een veld met een frequentie van 50 hertz. Vijftig keer per seconde wisselt de spanning van +230 volt naar -230 volt en omgekeerd. Ook het elektrische en magnetische veld wisselen 50 keer per seconde heen en weer.
Is 50 hertz goed genoeg?
Zo heb je de keuze uit 50 of 100 Hertz tv’s. Deze waarde bepaalt hoe vloeiend je beeld is tijdens snelle acties. Kijk je vaak naar sportwedstrijden of actiefilms? Kies dan geen 50 Hertz, maar een 100 Hertz tv.
Waarom 220 volt?
Vóór 1989 had de netspanning een voltage van 220. In 1989 werd besloten om de hoogte van de spanning te verhogen tot 230 volt. De reden hiervoor was om in Europa tot één niveau voor laagspanning te komen. Op deze manier is het ook makkelijker voor toeristen om stopcontacten in andere Europese landen te gebruiken.
Welke landen 60hz?
Tegenwoordig is de wereld verdeeld in een paar grote blokken, met in Europa 50 Hz en 230 V als standaard en in de Verenigde Staten 60 Hz en 120 V als standaard.
