How do I connect a GameCube controller to Dolphin?
Start dolphin. Click gamecube pad (gcpad) set device to xinput (it will have some more after that to identify which player it is etc) click each input and hit the corresponding part of the pad. My setup is in the first attachment. Do the same for wiimote.
Why is my controller not working in Dolphin?
The controller is working in Dolphin. It’s possible you are clicking out or something along the way and that is keeping it from reading the controller. Turn on “Background Input” and see if that solves it.

Everything works fine with the mouse/keyboard in game, and the Xbox controller works fine in non-dolphin games (i.e. fallout). If you have any idea what is going on, then please tell me!

They will be handled entirely in the GameCube Controller Configuration window. It is within each port’s own “Configure” button.
