Is Berseria better than Zestiria?
Since I started it so late (downloaded it on release, just never got around to playing it), Berseria was released while I was playing it and I had played the Berseria demo so I knew it seemed a lot better. That being said the end of Zestiria I ended up rushing because I just wanted to finish it and it seemed like a chore.

Is Zestiria really that bad?
It’s one of the games in this series you go to when you’ve beaten everything else because it’s bottom of the barrel. Zestiria is not terrible I think it’s alright, but very flawed. However, so many other games in the series are way better. If you care about gaming support DRM Free practices!
Berseria simplified a lot of the weird/complex stuff in Zestiria, but it’s still largely similar with the same kind of feel to it. However, Zestiria is largely considered one of the worst Tales games, while Berseria is considered one of the best since Symphonia/Abyss/Vesperia.

How does it feel to level up in Berseria?
Berseria should feel mostly normal leveling up to level 60, but after that there is much less stat gain per level. Learning new abilities or getting better gear is still usually better than just what your actual level is, but combat is much easier in Berseria so it’s not too difficult to fight enemies ~10 levels higher than you.
