Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is no longer the only king of the jungle. Looking at the dwindling player count, the infamous “CSGO is dying” conversation has resumed in 2021. According to steamcharts’ stats for June, CSGO has lost a massive chunk of its player base in the past five months.

So I know that recoil in CS:GO is accurate to reality; guns do tend to move a lot when you fire them. But the guns in CS:GO have another limiting factor, being the inaccuracy, which causes bullets to not go exactly where you aim them but rather off somewhere else at an angle.

I would definitely recommend it. It’s the one game on steam I can continually go back to, and it’s the only game I regularly play anymore. One of the main reasons I enjoy it is because you can really see how much you improve over time. My aim and game sense are always improving, and there’s always more to learn.
