Is MW set after MW3?
Modern Warfare begins anew – Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Despite taking place years after the events of MW3, this is not a sequel. 2019’s Modern Warfare is a reboot of the series, featuring a younger Cpt. Price, many new faces, and a completely new story. MW takes place in the fictional country of Urzikstan.
