Is platina duurder als goud?
Deze schaarsheid maakt platina meestal duurder dan goud. Er zijn echter ook periodes waarin goud duurder is dan platina. Platina ringen zijn ook duurder omdat er meer platina in een platina ring wordt gebruikt dan goud in een gouden ring. Platina is een zwaar metaal.
Is platina duurder dan witgoud?
Een platina ring bestaat daarentegen voor minstens 95 procent uit puur platina, een zeer zeldzaam edelmetaal dat erg hard is. Platina is doorgaans duurder dan witgoud, omdat het een zwaarder gewicht heeft, (in het geval van Pt 950) zuiverder* is en door zijn hardheid bovendien moeilijker is om te bewerken.
Is platina wit goud?

Should you invest in platinum?
