EMIYA Alter (Alternative Future Self from the Fate/Grand Order world) Shirou Emiya (衛宮 士郎, Emiya Shirō?) is the main protagonist of Fate/stay night who acts as the Master of Saber during the Fifth Holy Grail War. He is the adopted son of Kiritsugu Emiya, the adopted brother of Illyasviel Von Einzbern and the younger self of EMIYA.

Shirou takes out the seven Class Cards and reaffirms to Miyu that he is an older brother and protecting his little sister is part of that. Shirou laments to Miyu about what he was trying to figure out to do and all his past actions had been one mistake after another, even the one he is about to make.

While the Grail was working to grant his wish, Shirou is confronted by the wielder of the true Archer Class Card, Angelica. Angelica assaults an unarmed Shirou with the Gate of Babylon, with the the swords only grazing him yet still enough force to throw Shirou off the ground.

Could Gilgamesh have beaten Shirou in a fight?
If Gil wanted too he could have made distance from shirou too outlast UBW, ended the fight immediately before he had a chance to pull ouy UBW, or Gilgamesh could have simply won the fight if he didn’t hesitate to use his most powerful weapon.
Why does Shirou feel guilty after the Great Fire?
Due to the trauma he suffered during the great fire, Shirou has a constant emptiness in his personality and suffers from tremendous survivor’s guilt. He feels that, as the only survivor, it is unfair to the deceased to prioritize his own needs before those of others.

The eighth Class Card that holds Gilgamesh is identified as being the reason for the continued disruption in the center of the Earth Pulse in Fuyuki. It has continuously absorbed energy for the two and a half month period, considerably shrinking the Earth Pulse in proportion and becoming stronger than any of the previous heroes.
