Is there a Heracross in the Safari Zone?
Heracross isn’t in the Safari Zone, and as far as the rares…it just sucks, they take awhile. I do nothing but throw balls at them as soon as I see them, and it seems when this question gets asked, a lot of people say the same thing–you just have to get lucky. I’ve caught Kangashkan and Chansey, and only ran into one Tauros. Just takes time.
Where can I find (Heracross)?
Heracross is a Johto pokemon, so you’ll most likely find it in the Sevii Islands, which you could get access to after beating the Elite 4. He is found in the Pattern Bush. Heracross is also found in Ruby and Sapphire, and Emerald, in their safari zones. You could also catch one in Colosseum. I’m not sure if its in XD.

There is a small area that is only exclusive to the Emerald version. In Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, there is no entry fee, and the Safari Game has been removed. Plus, the Pokémon there can be battled against. Similar with the Safari Zone in Johto, this Safari Zone doesn’t have a walking limit unlike the other Safari Zones.
