Should I play Berseria or Tales of Zestiria first?
Tales of Zestiria takes place after Berseria. While Berseria is an amazing game and def better than Zestiria I think you should experience both. That being said I think playing Zestiria first is the best option. It’s a cheap game to pick up these days and it is good for the money.

Berseria should feel mostly normal leveling up to level 60, but after that there is much less stat gain per level. Learning new abilities or getting better gear is still usually better than just what your actual level is, but combat is much easier in Berseria so it’s not too difficult to fight enemies ~10 levels higher than you.
What is the difference between Zestiria the X S1 and S2?
Berseria has been created with Zestiria, the game, in mind. The game is the canon version and you can easily recognize some environments * cough * recycling ftw * cough * even if the world has changed in 1000 years. While Zestiria the X S1 is relatively faithful, S2 is its own thing and differs a lot from the original game.
