Waar kan ik acteren?
Focus je op audities bij kleine theatergezelschappen, of voor indie-films. Er zijn nog steeds kleine theatergroepen in grote steden waar je veel ervaring op kunt doen. Als je hebt besloten dat je een serieus acteur wilt worden, verhuis dan naar een grote stad voor de beste opleiding.
Hoe word je acteur in Belgie?
Om acteur te worden kun je een opleiding volgen aan een toneelacademie op hbo-niveau. Maar op mbo-niveau zijn er ook diverse acteeropleidingen. Daarnaast kun je ook in je vrije tijd de nodige ervaring opdoen als acteur. Bijvoorbeeld als vlogger of als acteur bij een amateurgezelschap.
Hoe krijg je een hoofdrol in een film?
Voor een rol bij een film of tv serie moet je soms wel een paar keer voor een screentest komen. Vanaf de tweede ronde is de regisseur er bij en hij kiest uiteindelijk wie de rol gaat spelen.. Als je bent uitgenodigd voor een casting, doe je een screentest.
Wat moet je doen om een acteur te worden?
Wil je serieus werk maken van je carrière als acteur, dan is het verstandig om een mbo- of hbo-opleiding tot acteur te volgen. Tijdens een opleiding tot acteur maak je kennis met verschillende disciplines. In sommige gevallen krijg je al de kans om je te specialiseren, bijvoorbeeld in musicals of drama.

De makkelijkste manier om audities te vinden, is door ze online op te zoeken. Sites die hierbij goed van pas zullen komen zijn Audities.nl, Filmvacatures.nl en Acteursspot.nl. Op theater- en filmscholen worden casting calls vaak op prikborden of websites bekendgemaakt.
