Waar staat Lilith in de Bijbel?
De oorsprong van Lilith is niet zonder problemen, zowel tekstueel als qua verhaal. In de Bijbel komt de naam alleen voor in Jesaja 34:14 en wordt dan in de Nederlandse Statenvertaling met “nachtgedierte” vertaald. De latere vertaling van het Nederlands Bijbelgenootschap geeft “nachtspook”.
