A Sonic Generations demo was playable at 2011’s E3 Expo, under the name “Sonic Boom” (no relation to the animated series.) It was the first major American Sonic event, being hosted by Sega, and took place on June 8, at 6pm PT. At E3, Sonic Generations was playable in both HD and 3DS versions.
