Wat betekent Hoge Veluwe?
Nationaal Park De Hoge Veluwe (door het park zelf aangeduid als ‘Het Nationale Park De Hoge Veluwe’) is een nationaal park in de Nederlandse provincie Gelderland, gesticht in 1935. De Hoge Veluwe is het enige nationaal park in Nederland waar bezoekers een entreebewijs dienen aan te schaffen.

Het Nationale Park De Hoge Veluwe is gelegen tussen Arnhem, Ede en Apeldoorn. De drie ingangen van het Park bevinden zich in Hoenderloo, Otterlo en Schaarsbergen.

Where to find white bicycles in Hoge Veluwe?
These white bicycles can be found in various locations throughout the park, as well as at the Hoenderloo, Otterlo and Schaarsbergen entrances, allowing you to hop on the saddle as soon as you enter. There are also white bicycles for children (without trainer wheels) and bicycles with front or rear children’s seats.
When is the best time to visit de Hoge Veluwe?
Of course, you can also go wildlife spotting on your own. You’ll have the best chances of observing wild animals in the late afternoon and evening from one of the various wildlife observation posts that have been placed throughout the park.
