Wat betekent Koenigsegg?
De Koenigsegg Agera is een conceptauto van de Zweedse supersportwagenbouwer Koenigsegg. Het model is gepresenteerd in maart 2010 op de Autosalon van Genève. Hoewel het model lijkt op de CCX, spreekt men over een geheel nieuw model. De naam Agera is een Zweeds werkwoord dat “handelen” betekent.

Wie is de bedenker van Koenigsegg?
Het bedrijf werd opgericht op 12 augustus 1994 door Christian von Koenigsegg, directeur en grootaandeelhouder, met de bedoeling om een supercar te ontwikkelen. In 1996 was het eerste rijdende prototype gereed, de Koenigsegg CC. De eerste wagens werden onder de naam Koenigsegg CC8S geleverd vanaf 2002.

Introduced at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, the car succeeds the Agera. The name Jesko is a tribute to the company founder’s father, Jesko von Koenigsegg. The Jesko is primarily built as a high-performance track car, with focus on high aerodynamic downforce and more precise handling.
How fast can a Koenigsegg go from 0-300 km/h?
The Koenigsegg CCX set a new performance benchmark for 0-300-0 km/h, completing the run in just 29.2 seconds. Even today, many high performance cars only reach the 300 mark in such a time, let alone the braking segment. The CCX also accelerated from 0-200 km/h in 9.3 seconds.
When did the first Koenigsegg production car come out?
The first Koenigsegg production prototype made its public debut at the Paris Motor Show in September, 2000. The car on show was the first ever Koenigsegg CC8S production prototype, which later became the test car and crash-test car that enabled Koenigsegg to homologate vehicles for sale.
