Wat betekent Nodules?
Kleine knobbel of massa bestaande uit cellen of weefsels. Nodules kunnen kwaadaardig (maligne) of goedaardig (benigne) zijn.
Wat is Noduli in longen?
Een long nodule is een relatief afgerond letsel of zone van abnormale weefsel in de long. Longnodules worden het meest ontdekt op een longfoto of ct-scan van de longen. Bij een naaldbiopsie van long nodules worden meestal een CT-san gebruikt om op de juiste plaats het biopt (staalname) te nemen.
Kan reuma op de longen slaan?
Reuma veroorzaakt soms een ontsteking van bloedvaten (reumatoïde vasculitis) en in de onderhuid de vorming van harde klompjes, de zogeheten reumaknobbels. De ziekte kan ook de longen aantasten (reumatoïde longziekte), waardoor pleuritis kan optreden, reumaknobbels in de longen en pulmonaire fibrose.
Wat zijn de klachten bij struma?
Als u een struma hebt, kunt u de volgende klachten hebben:
- moeilijker kunnen slikken.
- klachten bij het ademhalen.
- problemen met uw stem.
- een drukkend gevoel in uw hals.

Is a thyroid nodule and a goiter the same thing?
A thyroid nodule is not the same thing as a goiter. Thyroid nodules are growths or lumps in the thyroid gland. A thyroid goiter is an enlargement of the thyroid gland. A goiter can be due to generalized enlargement of the thyroid gland, or the presence of multiple nodules. A thyroid nodule is a growth within the thyroid gland.
