Wat is geconjugeerde bilirubine?
Bilirubine ontstaat bij de afbraak van het hemoglobine uit rode bloedcellen. Bilirubine wordt in de lever omgezet in een vorm die uit het lichaam kan verdwijnen (geconjugeerd wateroplosbaar bilirubine). Dit wordt via de gal en de darmen uit het lichaam verwijderd.
Welk bloedvat voert bilirubine af?
