Wat is het verschil tussen 32 en 64 bit Windows?
Met 32 bits kun je maximaal 2 GB intern geheugen gebruiken – je kunt meer in de computer stoppen, maar Windows kan daar geen gebruik van maken. Met 64 bits kun je vele malen meer geheugen gebruiken, dus dan heeft het ook zin er meer dan 2 GB in te stoppen. — Steeds meer programma’s worden 64 bits.

What is X32 in 8086?
x32 is a fuzzy term that’s not associated with hardware. It tends to be used to mean “32-bit” or “32-bit pointer architecture”, Linux has an ABI by that name. 8 bit version of 8086 is a bit misleading. The 8088 is a 16-bit processor which means its registers are 16 bit wide.
