Wat is het verschil tussen sliptong en tong?
Een sliptong is dezelfde Noordzeetong als de tong die wij als zodanig kennen. Tong wordt gevangen met een sleepnet dat over de bodem sleept en een sliptong is net nog groot genoeg om niet door de mazen van het net te ‘slippen’. Indien hij door de mazen heen slipt, is hij te klein om te mogen verkopen als ‘sliptong’.
Hoe lang bak je tong?
Pak de tong bij de staart en laat hem langzaam (de kop eerst) in de pan glijden. Bak de tongen 5 tot 6 minuten aan elke kant goudbruin. Til de vis soms even op aan de staart om de boter eronder te laten vloeien (dit voorkomt aanbakken).
Waar smaakt tong naar?
