Middelbare scholen en mbo’s gaan zelf een rekenexamen maken voor hun eigen scholieren. Voor deze nieuwe rekentoets moet een 4 of hoger worden gehaald om het diploma te kunnen halen.

Het eindcijfer is het gemiddelde cijfer van je schoolexamen en het centraal examen. Het eindcijfer is altijd een afgerond getal en een 4,5 wordt naar boven afgerond tot een 5.
