Welk tuig is het beste?
Y-tuigjes zijn voor honden de beste hondentuigen. Een Y-tuig wordt zo genoemd doordat het een Y-vorm heeft aan de voorkant. Het middelpunt van de Y-vorm rust op het borstbeen (het botje dat uitsteekt aan de voorkant). Op die manier wordt de druk goed verdeeld wanneer er spanning staat op de riem.
Hoe strak moet een Y tuig zitten?
Zowel bij een halsband of voor een tuig geldt dat het niet te strak mag zitten en je minstens twee vingers spelingsruimte moet hebben. Daarbij dient met beide op een goede manier te worden omgegaan. Een goede training is hierbij erg belangrijk.
Welke mand voor teckel?
Een kleine mand of klein kussen plaats je gemakkelijk naast je op de bank. Teckels zijn ondanks hun stoere karakter vaak erg op hun comfort en kruipen graag weg onder een dekentje. Qua maat zijn alle mandjes van 70 cm geschikt voor een teckel.

The Denver factory, which employed 4,000 at its peak, closed in May 2001. Samsonite headquarters moved from Denver to Mansfield, Massachusetts, after a change of ownership in May 2005.
