What does SRD stand for?
In 2007, the European Parliament and the European Council adopted the Shareholder Rights Directive (SRD) to ensure a better protection of the exercise of rights of shareholders in listed companies. In 2017, the revised Shareholder Rights Directive (SRD II), amends the SRD and aims at encouraging long-term engagement of EU listed companies’
What is the difference between the SRD and D&D Beyond basic rules?
The SRD is intended to be used by designers for creating their own content, and is not an official rules source. The D&D Beyond Basic Rules are intended for all players and contain all content in the SRD: This section contains the Dungeons & Dragons Basic Rules and the rules in the SRD, released as part of the Open Gaming License.
What is SRD II and why does it matter?
A revised version (SRD II) was issued in 2017 with regulators wanting to put the right conditions in place to encourage and promote long-term trust in the relationship between issuers and investors while impeding speculative behaviour, especially in crisis situations.
