What is bactrim 800 mg used for?
This medication is a combination of two antibiotics: sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim. It is used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections (such as middle ear, urine, respiratory, and intestinal infections).

Bactrim DS Tablet can cause nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, loss of appetite, headache, and other side effects. It is recommended that you eat a safe balanced diet and drink plenty of water to prevent any harmful side effects. Contact your doctor right away if any of the side effects escalate.
Is 3 days of Bactrim enough for UTI?
