Life steal is an offensive stat which grants healing equal to a percentage of the damage dealt by basic attacks, including those that are modified (such as Siphoning Strike or Spellblade ). It applies to abilities that deal basic damage (usually those which trigger on-hit effects e.g. Mystic Shot, Parrrley, Steel Tempest ).

However, many do not realize it does not work on all healing-related abilities or items. Here is a quick shortcut for how to remember what revitalize buffs and some fun facts. Shortcut: if an ability/item heals you by increasing your health regeneration statistic, revitalize will not buff the heal.

Revitalize is a multiplicative bonus that applies after Spirit Visage increases the life steal stat by 30%. Heal and Shield power does not apply. Not being lifesteal or spellvamp, Conqueror and Elixir of Wrath can never provide bonus healing.
