BattleBots is a robot combat competition that takes place in an elimination style tournament. Designers build, operate and battle their destructive robots until a champion is crowned. A bot named Hellachopper was going to appear in season 2 of the ABC reboot series, but was unable to pass safety tests.

A bot named Hellachopper was going to appear in season 2 of the ABC reboot series, but was unable to pass safety tests. Hellachopper’s builders worked hard to rework their bot before the competition, but later came to an agreement with the Battlebots safety inspection crew to withdraw.
What bots are coming back to Fortnite?
The announcement reported that amongst the returning bots would be favorites Tombstone, Minotaur, Chomp, Witch Doctor, Bronco, Bombshell, Bite Force, and Yeti. The BattleBots 2019 season is here! Great News BotFans! BattleBots is back with our best season yet. Catch BattleBots airing Fridays on Discovery and Wednesdays on Science Channel (with extra footage!). The new season will include two blocks of 8-episodes (16 total with a mid-season break).
