What is the story behind the character Spyro?
Spyro, as a concept, was originally brought up by Insomniac in-house artist Craig Stitt, who had an interest in the fictional beasts. With the dragon decided upon, the developers then began conceptualizing names and potential designs for the character.
What kind of snout does Spyro have?
Spyro’s snout resembles that of a crocodile’s; he has yellow and pink ridges on his back, the first three on his head that are his head crests are tipped in two edges. Light purple spots are dotted along his back to the tip of his tail; his tail spade even contains four lines.
What are the powers of Spyro?
Spyro, being a rare purple dragon, can wield and master several elements: Fire, Ice, Earth, and Electricity, as well as Time. Like all purple dragons, he can also control many abilities that others cannot.
Why did Spyro go to Avalar?
Spyro has been brought to the land of Avalar to defeat the evil sorcerer Ripto who has brought war to Avalar’s Homeworlds. Each Homeworld is being held captive by Ripto and his minions, and it’s up to Spyro to defeat them and bring peace to Avalar’s realms.
