What level is lava level in Minecraft?
Lava Pools appear on the surface most often in Deserts, but can be found in most Biomes. Underground Lava Pools are located directly below level 11, making that level a safe place for mining. Lava Pools located underground can spawn at other levels, but not nearly as frequently as on the Lava Level.

You can obviously swim, but doesnt completely negate fire damage from lava like fire resistance. However yout take only 1 HP damage from lava while wearing netherite armor. It doesnt burn in lava when dropped as an item and does not lose durability when you are in lava even though you are taking damage.

Netherite is a rare material from the Nether, used primarily to upgrade diamond gear. Netherite items are more powerful and durable than diamond, can float in lava, and cannot burn.
