- Don’t go after someone the same size as you.
- Avoid being trapped in corners.
- Do not eat viruses in FFA & Team Mode, you will not gain mass and will activate the Anti-Team penalty, making you shrink at an alarming rate.
- Self-feeding helps when you are in pieces and some of your medium sized pieces are under attack.

Viruses have a distinct spiky form and present a hazard to large cells. – Take on the world. Other players come in only two forms, either threats or food. Discounting the unique modes and pay-to-win additions, the overall gameplay has stayed the same.
