Exchange Tuvala for Boss Gear After Summer Season 4 graduation, you can exchange 1 PEN Tuvala armor or weapon for a TET boss gear. (Get up to two boss gear, if you turn in Swell Sea Shells as well.) The boss gear will be bound to family, and you CAN attempt to PEN and Caphras it later.

TIP: There are no character level restrictions on enhanced armor, weapons, and accessories. Even a level 1 character can wear the best PEN (V) boss gear.
