Is Morrowind better than oblivion and Skyrim?
Other than the combat morrowind is mountains above oblivion. Story is better, setting is better, armor and weapon variety is also bigger than both oblivion and skyrim and the game itself is a lot less buggier than the latter two. Oblivion obviously looks better but that’s about it.
What are some good games that are better than Morrowind?
Oblivion – Game much more streamlined than Morrowind but looses it’s charm. Uses quest markers rather than Morrowind’s directions. Much more “pick up and enjoy” than Morrowind’s “pick up and get killed by rat”.
Why do people like dungeons so much more than Oblivion?
Dungeons feel much more unique than Oblivion’s or Morrwoind’s, especially since many more dungeon designers were used than in previous games. World invites exploration and many places genuinely astonish you. Morrowind – Creatures are weird and wonderful, but human enemies are bland and boring.
What do you think about the setting of Oblivion?
Oblivion obviously looks better but that’s about it. The setting is fine on its own but when you compare the “generic medieval cities and forests” setting we got to the original (up to morrowind) “roman empire in a tropical jungle” setting its just dull. The game itself is a bugfest.
Is Morrowind worth playing now?
Morrowind came out almost 20 years ago and the combat gameplay is not very engaging nowdays. The lore, and amount of quest in morrowind is great, but oblivion still holds ups very well and you could play months of oblivion before exploring everthing.
