What are channel points on Twitch?
You may have already seen Channel Points on Twitch as we’ve been in early access. Today, we’re excited to roll it out to all partners and affiliates. As a viewer, you can use points to temporarily unlock tier 1 emotes (giving you a taste of benefits usually reserved for subscribers), highlight your messages in chat, and a lot more.
How do I connect my Twitch account to Twitter?
You can connect your Twitch account to Twitter, YouTube, and Steam directly from your settings to share your content in all the places your community frequents. To connect, simply hover over the grayed out tick icon until you see Connect. Proceed to connect your respective account.
How do I allow developers to access my Twitch account?
Twitch allows developers to utilize the Kraken API which can allow them limited access to your account if you allow them. Here you can review all of the applications which have been authorized for your account, and you can revoke authorization for an application or website by clicking the Disconnect link on the relevant row.

If you are a developer and wish to utilize the Twitch API you can register your application by checking out Twitch Developers page. This page allows you to manage your recommendations by allowing you to remove channels, categories and videos you’ve previously tagged as Not Interested via the Discover page on Twitch.
